Installation and Usage Instructions

1. Mechanical Installation

Environmental Requirements: Ambient temperature must be controlled between -10°C and +50°C, and humidity below 90%RH (no condensation).

Space Reservation: For wall-mounted installation, at least 100mm of ventilation space must be reserved above and below the machine. Do not block the air inlet.


2. Electrical Connection

Main Circuit: Connect the power input to the power terminals (R/S/T), and connect the motor to the motor terminals (U/V/W). Reverse connection is strictly prohibited!

Braking Configuration: The 0.75KW model typically has a built-in braking unit. For rapid braking, please connect an external braking resistor (connected to the P/+ and PB terminals).


3. Quick Debugging Procedure

1). Parameter Reset: Set F0-27 = 3 to restore factory settings.

2). Setting Motor Parameters: Set F2-01 (Power) to F2-05 (Speed) according to the motor nameplate. 

3). Select Control Mode: Set F0-01 = 0 to select Vector Control (SVC), or F0-01 = 2 to select V/F Control.

4). Parameter Identification (Recommended): Set F2-11 = 2 (Full Tuning) or 1 (Static Tuning), and press the Run button to allow the inverter to automatically learn the motor parameters.

5). Operation Test: Control start/stop via the RUN button on the panel or external terminals, and adjust the potentiometer or buttons to set the frequency.


FAQ

Q1: Can the 0.75kW General Purpose Variable Frequency Drive a heavy load start?

A: Absolutely. The 0.75kW General Purpose Variable Frequency Drive supports vector control (SVC), with starting torque up to 150%. For heavy-duty equipment such as mixers or crushers with a power output of 0.75KW, it is recommended to set the motor nameplate parameters in group F2 and perform motor parameter identification in F2-11 to obtain optimal low-speed torque performance.

A: According to the technical specifications in the manual, models of 37KW and below (including 0.75KW) have a built-in braking unit. Users only need to purchase an external braking resistor and connect it to the P(+) and PB terminals; no additional braking unit is required, saving installation costs.


Q3: How to control the motor's forward and reverse rotation?

You can control it in several ways:

Panel control: Directly press the FWD (forward) or REV (reverse) button on the operation panel.

Terminal control: Connect to the MIn terminal via an external switch (F5-00 and F5-01 must be set to forward/reverse function).

Parameter switching: Setting F0-09 directly changes the running direction command without needing to change the motor wiring.


Q4: Does the frequency converter generate a lot of heat?

A: The 0.75KW model generates relatively little heat, but to ensure its lifespan, it must be installed vertically with unobstructed top and bottom ventilation. If the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C, it is recommended to derating the unit or installing a fan for forced cooling.
