The 11kW model uses a fully enclosed iron casing (IP20). Installation and Usage Instructions

1. Mechanical Installation (Critical Steps)

Vertical Installation: The 11KW model is large and heavy, and must be installed vertically on a flat metal wall. Inverted or horizontal installation is strictly prohibited.

Heat Dissipation Space: The 11KW generates a large amount of heat; a ventilation space of ≥300mm must be reserved above and below (the document recommends 150mm, but more space is recommended for higher power models).

Dust Prevention Measures: In environments with high dust levels (such as textiles and wood processing), dust filters must be installed or a separate sealed electrical cabinet must be used.


2. Electrical Connections

Main Circuit: Connect the input terminals (R/S/T) to the three-phase power supply, and the output terminals (U/V/W) to the motor. Connecting the power supply to the output terminals is strictly prohibited!

Braking Unit: The 11KW model does not have a built-in braking unit (an external unit is required). If rapid stopping is required, an external braking unit and braking resistor must be connected (connected to the P/+ and PB terminals).

Reactor: It is recommended to install an AC input reactor on the power supply side to improve the power factor and eliminate high-order harmonics.


3. Quick Commissioning Procedure

Parameter Reset: Set F0-27 = 3 to restore factory settings.

Motor Parameters: Set F2-01 (Power) to 11.0, and F2-03 (Current) to the motor nameplate current.

Vector Tuning: Set F2-11 = 2 (Full Tuning), press the Run button to allow the inverter to automatically recognize the motor parameters (load must be disconnected).

Operation Test: Set F0-02 = 1 (Terminal Control), F0-03 = 2 (AI1 Voltage Input), connect the potentiometer to perform speed adjustment tests.


Precautions

Frequent power switching is strictly prohibited: The 11KW inverter's internal capacitors have a large charging current. Frequent power disconnection via contactor during operation is strictly prohibited, as this can easily damage the IGBT module. It is recommended to start and stop via the control terminals.

Long-distance transmission: If the motor distance exceeds 100 meters, an output reactor must be installed to prevent excessive leakage current caused by cable distributed capacitance.

Grounding requirements: The 11kW Heavy Duty Variable Frequency Drive must use a single-point grounding method. The grounding wire cross-sectional area must be ≥ 6mm². Sharing a grounding wire with other power machinery is strictly prohibited.

Q3: Why does my 11KW inverter report "overheating" after running for a while?

A: 11KW inverters generate a lot of heat, and overheating is usually caused by three reasons: 1. Blocked air ducts. Please check if the fan is running and if there is lint/dust at the air inlet; 2. High ambient temperature. If the temperature inside the control cabinet exceeds 40°C, please install an air conditioner or exhaust fan; 3. Damaged fan. The fan is a separate component for 11KW models. If the fan is not turning, the machine must be stopped immediately and the fan replaced.


Q4: Can an 11KW inverter control multiple motors?

A: Yes, but with a condition. 11KW models support parallel drive of multiple motors in V/F control mode. It is recommended that the total current not exceed 1.1 times the rated current of the frequency converter.
